Ovonto Typeface

Design a custom typeface for OVO, Drake’s Hip-Hop recording label and clothing line.

The creation of Ovonto was inspired by OVO’s minimalistic brand identity and the variety of industries the brand has a presence in. The name of the typeface was devised from a combination of OVO and its headquarters in Toronto. The typeface is universally understood, but contributes to the brand’s sense of exclusivity.
